SolarSim

Startup with roots at DTU

Who is SolarSim?

SolarSim is a Danish startup founded to make the green transition easier for everyone to take part in. Our digital tool builds on the latest research, precise data and user-friendly technology.

The idea for SolarSim grew out of a project at DTU, the Technical University of Denmark, and was later developed into an independent company. Three solar researchers from DTU Electro joined as co-founders because of their expertise in solar cells and PV systems, and that DTU background remains a strong part of SolarSim's foundation.

The tool offers independent solar advice that helps citizens, municipalities and businesses make informed green choices about solar power.
