This privacy policy describes how SolarSim ApS collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our services on solarsim.dk and kommune.solarsim.dk.

2. Data processed via solarsim.dk (the website)
solarsim.dk is a static informational site with no login, no forms and no cookies. When you visit the site, only a minimum of data is processed:
- Technical server logs at our hosting provider (e.g. IP address and timestamp), processed briefly for operational and security purposes
- Your cookie-consent choice, stored in your browser’s Local Storage
- Anonymised, aggregated statistics via Umami, only if you have accepted in the cookie banner; Umami uses no cookies, and the IP address is anonymised and not stored
We cannot identify you from the statistics, and we do not track you across websites.
3. Data processed via kommune.solarsim.dk (the tool)
Information you enter yourself is stored locally in your browser (Local Storage) and used for the calculation:

ElOverblik (optional): You can choose to give SolarSim access to your consumption data via ElOverblik (Energinet DataHub):
- You give consent directly to Energinet DataHub via MitID
- Data is cached temporarily for a maximum of 10 minutes
- We do not store your consumption data permanently
- You can revoke the authorisation at any time via ElOverblik.dk
Shared reports (optional): If you choose to share your calculation, the report data is stored for 30 days and then deleted automatically. Shared reports contain no personal identifiers such as name, e-mail or CPR number.

- Data for marketing or profiling

9. Your rights
As a data subject you have the following rights under the GDPR:
- Right of access: you can request information about which personal data we process about you
- Right to rectification: incorrect data can be corrected on request
- Right to erasure: you delete Local Storage yourself in your browser; shared reports are deleted automatically after 30 days
- Right to restriction of processing in certain cases
- Right to data portability: you can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Right to object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Withdrawal of consent: website statistics via Cookie settings at the bottom of the page, the ElOverblik authorisation via ElOverblik.dk, and consent in the tool via its cookie settings
